Sheena Yen Si - Chiropractor

Sheena Yen Si graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. Sheena’s approach to Chiropractic care combines a strong belief in the value of achieving early spinal, overall functional health with promoting physical and nutritional well-being. She is a very keen advocate of chiropractic and is experienced in treating athletes from many sporting backgrounds.

 

Sheena is an ultra-marathoner and a Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF) with British Athletics. She promotes functional strength customised to the individual and their sporting field.

With her personal sporting interests, she is supremely placed to understand and treat sporting injuries and finds seeing her athletic patients return to their optimal performance one of the most rewarding aspects of her professional work.

 

Sheena is also qualified in Acupuncture and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, which she sees as an invaluable tool for understanding andĀ helping those suffering from long-term chronic pain.

 

Sheena is a Full Member of the Royal College of Chiropractors & a Registered PRT Trainer.

James J Molony - Chiropractor

James Molony graduated from the AECC with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic. James is qualified to use acupuncture needles for treating musculoskeletal complaints, he also has a previous Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology.

 

James finds the most rewarding part of his job, is successfully treating those patients with chronic / long standing complaints that they have often been accepted as part of their life and tried chiropractic as a last resort.

 

James has received post-graduate training in the treatment of chronic pain, whiplash injuries, osteoarthritis and chronic pain syndromes such as fybromyalgia.

 

James is very well placed to understand and treat acute road collision trauma and chronic low back pain. Seeing his patients return to optimal performance is one of the most rewarding aspects of his professional work.

Jaspreet Panesar - Chiropractor

Jaspreet Panesar graduated from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth with a Masters degree in Chiropractic (MChiro).

Through continuing further study and her interest in biomechanics she has obtained postgraduate certification as an extremity practitioner (CCEP) by the Council on Extremity Adjusting.

 

Jaspreet is passionate about treating the individual, finding out the root cause of her patient’s symptoms and working with them to get the body functioning at its optimum. She strives to get her patients to understand their body, providing them with the tools necessary, for them to build upon the work she does to prevent injury and stay at their best. She feels people from all walks of life and of any age can benefit from chiropractic care, using various techniques to treat her patients.

Ben Dixon - Physiotherapist

Ben has been working at the practice since 2015 with, but we are pleased to be fully welcoming him to the Alevia team. Since graduating from Cardiff in 2009 he has worked in a broad variety of physiotherapy settings, including community and domiciliary services, NHS practices, private clinics and sports teams. From these settings, Ben has extensive experience and knowledge in treating sports injuries, lower back and neck pain, whiplash, ergonomic desk and driving related pain, and post-surgical/orthopaedic conditions, among others.

 

Ben is undertaking additional post-graduate training with the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine, which is a course undertaken by doctors and physiotherapists to further their musculoskeletal practice knowledge and progress their ability to assess, diagnose and treat a wide array of conditions.

 

Ben has also completed additional post-graduate training in myofascial release massage, whiplash management, manipulation and mobilisation, and acupuncture through the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP), where he uses a mixture of western acupuncture, traditional Chinese acupuncture, and dry needling that target muscular trigger points and helping to reduce muscle tension.

Nina Earl - Soft Tissue Treatment Therapist

Nina has experience of working in different multidisciplinary health care settings including adult social care in the NHS, GP surgeries and mental health. Her
experience of supporting patients with long term health conditions has given her
insight into the value of early intervention therapies, particularly in relation to
pain management.

 

Nina’s passion in supporting those in pain, led to her training
in Clinical Reflexology at the Reflexology Academy, London in 2016 and as a
Sports Massage Therapist graduating in 2017.

 

After graduating, Nina gained experience volunteering for the Positive Health
Club, Hillingdon and running a pain clinic at a mental health day centre in
Harrow. She then went in to work at a busy sports club providing sports massage
to athletes from different sports including triathletes and skiers. She specialises
in Sports massage techniques, deep tissue massage, Neuromuscular Therapy and
Dry Cupping therapy.

Aaron Williams - Soft Tissue Treatment Therapist

Aaron graduated from the University Of Bedfordshire with a degree of Bachelor of Sciences with Honours in Sports Therapy Bsc (Hons) (2015) he is also qualified as a Gym instructor (REPs Level 2).

 

Aaron specialises in Advanced Sports massage techniques, deep tissue massage, physical therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy and has years of experience working with sports teams.

He has previously worked within an injury clinic providing assessments. treatments and advice and aftercare to individuals ranging from the general public to sports athletes andĀ has also worked at Wycombe Wanderers football club providing sports massage and therapy to the players.

 

He has suffered personally from a shoulder and hamstring injury due to sport and training which has given him first hand experience of the rehabilitation process, giving him the knowledge to understand the patience and care you will need to get you back to your optimum self.
